An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Disputes Solicitor to join a highly regarded national firm in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied portfolio of real estate disputes, taking matters from initial instruction through to settlement, trial or alternative resolution.
  • Advise clients on a broad range of property-related disputes, including forfeiture, possession, lease renewals, rent reviews, rights of way and adverse possession.
  • Represent clients in court, tribunal and alternative dispute resolution proceedings, providing clear and commercially focused advice.
  • Work collaboratively with senior colleagues on complex matters while providing guidance and support to junior members of the team.
  • Contribute to the development of the practice through client relationship management, networking and business development.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with

6+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) and strong experience in property litigation.

  • Demonstrable experience handling a broad range of property disputes, including contentious landlord and tenant matters.
  • Excellent legal analysis, drafting and advocacy skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into practical commercial advice.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional stakeholders.
  • Proactive and collaborative, with an interest in developing your own profile and contributing to the wider success of the team.
