We are looking for a reliable and motivated Stores Assistant to join our warehouse team and support the efficient day-to-day operation of our stores.
The Role As a Stores Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly by maintaining accurate stock records, preparing customer orders, and keeping the warehouse organised and safe.
Key Responsibilities Manage stock levels using our Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring inventory records are accurate and up to date.
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
Receive, check and store incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
Handle materials carefully, including manual lifting and movement of stock.
Support the wider warehouse team with general stores and warehouse duties as required.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working in a warehouse or stores environment (preferred but not essential).
Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Good organisational and time management skills.
A willingness to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting as part of the role.
A current full driving licence would be desirable, but is not essential.
