Interiors With Art (IWA) is looking for a talented and driven Interior Design Intern to join our London team for a hands-on 6-month paid placement, working on some of the UK’s most luxurious residential projects.

The Opportunity

This is not your typical internship. You will be fully immersed in live projects, working closely with designers, project managers, and contractors, and gaining exposure to every stage of the design process.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting design development from concept to completion
  • Assisting with technical drawings, presentations, and mood boards
  • Researching materials, suppliers, and FF&E
  • Coordinating with the wider team on live project deliverables
  • Using both traditional design tools and emerging AI tools to enhance creativity, efficiency, and presentations

Who We’re Looking For

A creative, motivated graduate who is passionate about high-end residential design and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Interior design degree (or on track for 2:1 or above)
  • Strong design sensibility and creative flair
  • Knowledge of current design trends and suppliers
  • Understanding of UK construction and specifications
  • AutoCAD
  • SketchUp
  • Adobe InDesign & Photoshop
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, organised, and ‘can-do’ attitude

Desirable

  • Freehand sketching ability
  • Experience with 3ds Max or similar
  • Interest or experience in AI tools for design
