Residential Outside Sales Representative | Residential Division | Greater Boston
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and experienced Outside Sales Representative with luxury residential industry experience to join a collaborative team.
We seek a Residential Outside Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Boston and play a key role in expanding their presence in the residential luxury furnishings market. You will leverage your business development, client management, and sales expertise to develop current relationships with clients and expand to new businesses in the residential luxury furnishings market. The Residential Outside Sales Representative will strategically locate new business, develop relationships, and build a lasting partnership. This may include travel to clients, conferences, networking events, and more within the Greater Boston territory this role oversees.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Development: Leverage your exceptional interpersonal skills to build and nurture a powerful network within the luxury market. Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Brand Representation: Showcase our brand with pride and enthusiasm, embodying the level of quality in products and services that defines the company. Be the ambassador of our values and aesthetics in every interaction.
- Strategic Time Allocation: Utilize your ability to discern and prioritize opportunities, focusing efforts on activities that yield maximum returns. Be strategic in managing time and energy to achieve business development goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a high-functioning team that shares a commitment to excellence. Collaborate with colleagues to produce, represent, and deliver world-class products with an unwavering focus on quality.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including pipeline management, sales forecasts, and performance metrics, to track progress toward goals and inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of outside sales/business development experience.
- A demonstrated track record of success in business development, particularly within the luxury residential market.
- Must possess excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and CRM Software (Salesforce, a plus).
- Natural ability to command attention and build relationships effortlessly. Adept at turning strangers into friends and cultivating meaningful connections.
- Ability to identify opportunities, prioritize effectively, and allocate resources for optimal results.
- A commitment to representing and delivering products and services that reflect the highest standards of quality and aesthetic excellence.
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a supportive team environment, contributing to a culture of excellence and mutual success.
- Ability to travel to clients, events, conferences, etc. when needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary + Commissions + Bonus Potential + Benefits Package
- Health Insurance: Employee contribution of $50 per month, remainder covered by the company, with an option to upgrade. Spouse/Dependents/Family coverage available, premium paid by the employee on a pretax basis

- Life/ADD: 100% of premiums paid by the company.
- Short Term Disability, paid by the company. Life insurance equal to salary, paid by the company.
