Your Role: As a Maintenance Worker V, you will be handling trades duties approaching the journeyman level in areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. You will supervise Maintenance Workers and designated staff while constructing walls, doors, floors, ceilings, and windows. Your skills will shine in framing, applying, and finishing materials like drywall, wood paneling, and floor coverings. You will also design, construct, and repair furniture, cabinets, desks, tables, and shelves, and contribute to plastering, painting, and decorating for minor renovations and general maintenance.
Casual Opportunities Across the Region: This position is eligible for casual work at multiple healthcare sites throughout the region. Work hours range from 0 to 37.5 per week, with shifts available on short notice or pre-scheduled to cover leaves. On-call may be required with this position. Many of our team members start in casual roles and transition into permanent positions.
