About The Job

Performs assessments and provides personal and nursing care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, with scope varying according to client needs. Administers medications (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular) following policies and procedures. Operates within the standards of practice outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and organizational protocols. This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0 to 37.5 hours per week as needed. Shifts are scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00, and 23:00 to 07:00 hours.

The Dr. F.W. Green Home is a 60-bed long-term care facility supporting residents’ choices and providing quality life. It offers complex care, 24-hour nursing, medication management, and various resident engagement programs. Facilities include private rooms, lounges, recreation areas, laundry, and more.
