Deputy Director of Nursing (Band 8d) & Head of Nursing (Band 8c)

I'm working with a respected mental health organisation to recruit two senior nursing leaders: a Deputy Director of Nursing (8d) and a Head of Nursing (8c).

These are pivotal leadership roles, offering the opportunity to shape high-quality, safe and compassionate mental health services across a complex and evolving organisation. We are seeking experienced senior nurses who have operated successfully at Band 8c/8d level, with a strong track record of professional leadership, clinical governance, quality improvement and workforce development.

The successful candidates will provide strategic and operational leadership to nursing teams, working closely with executive and clinical colleagues to deliver excellent patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement. Experience within mental health services is essential, alongside credibility, resilience and the ability to lead through change.
