Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced clinical professional to support an Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) programme on an interim basis.
In this pivotal regional role, you’ll:
- Visit a range of sites across the area to carry out IPC audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
- Provide expert infection control and health & safety advice to local teams.
- Review and update IPC policies and procedures in line with national guidance.
- Undertake reactive visits in response to outbreaks or incidents.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and assurance work within the region.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A registered clinical background (e.g. Nurse or AHP) and specialist IPC expertise.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- A flexible, proactive approach and confidence engaging with multiple sites and stakeholders.
