InterGreat Education Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Education Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Education Consultant, you will play a crucial role in facilitating UK Independent School applications for Chinese students, with a focus on the Chinese market.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance and support to Chinese students and their families throughout the UK Independent School application process, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their educational objectives, preferences, and cultural requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Chinese student recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance collaboration and facilitate successful student placements.
- Liaise with the Independent School Advisor to conduct thorough assessments of prospective students' academic backgrounds, extracurricular activities, and personal interests to identify suitable UK Independent Schools.
- Assist students in completing application forms within deadlines set by UK Independent Schools, ensuring applications meet the highest standards and admission requirements.
- Stay updated on developments in UK Independent School admissions, scholarship opportunities, and visa regulations, providing accurate information to students, parents, and partners.
- Implement effective marketing strategies targeting the Chinese market, including digital campaigns, social media, industry events, and educational fairs.
- Support and/or host informative workshops and seminars for Chinese students and parents, providing insights into the UK education system and successful application strategies.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and student demographics to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies to expand our reach in the Chinese market.
- Maintain accurate student records and application details in the CRM system.
- Complete all administrative and KPI-related tasks accurately and on time.
Education, Qualifications & Language
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Proven experience as an Education Consultant, specifically focused on UK Independent School applications and the Chinese market.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK education system, including admissions processes, curriculum frameworks, and school rankings.
- Strong understanding of the Chinese education system, culture, and family expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Established network within the Chinese education community is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Chinese student recruitment agencies is advantageous.
