Seeking a talented CRM Sportsbook Manager to play a key role in driving retention, engagement, and betting activity across our sportsbook offering. As a CRM Sportsbook Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely, data‑driven campaigns aligned to the sporting calendar, odds movements, and customer behaviour.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute daily, event‑driven CRM campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and onsite messaging, focused on key sporting events, live betting opportunities, and promotional activity.
  • Own customer communications around major fixtures, tournaments, and in‑play moments to maximise engagement and betting frequency.
  • Collaborate with CRM Operations to build detailed campaign briefs tailored to sportsbook audiences, including segmentation by sport, league, and player preferences.
  • Act as the creative lead for sportsbook CRM, ensuring all offers (free bets, odds boosts, bet‑and‑get, etc.) are compelling, relevant, and aligned with trading and commercial objectives.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies specific to sportsbook users, including lifecycle campaigns, reactivation flows, and VIP engagement.
  • Work closely with Trading and Content teams to align messaging with odds, markets, and key events.
  • Use CRM tools to deliver highly targeted, personalised campaigns based on betting behaviour, recency, frequency, and value.
  • Test all campaigns thoroughly, ensuring accuracy of odds, links, and promotional mechanics before launch.
  • Monitor live campaigns during major sporting events and optimise in real‑time where needed.
  • Analyse campaign performance (stakes, turnover, active days, retention) and provide actionable insights to the Head of CRM.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies across messaging, offers, and timing to continuously improve performance.
  • Ensure seamless customer journeys from communication to bet placement, minimising friction and errors.
  • Support onsite merchandising by highlighting key matches, boosted odds, and trending markets.
  • Stay up to date with the sporting calendar, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform campaign planning.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in CRM or marketing, ideally within sportsbook, gaming, or a fast‑paced digital environment.
  • Strong understanding of sportsbook mechanics (odds, markets, bet types, promotions).
  • Experience with CRM segmentation, lifecycle planning, and event‑based campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write compelling, action‑driven sportsbook copy.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with time‑sensitive and odds‑based content.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Customer.io (or similar tools).
  • A passion for sports and a strong awareness of major leagues, tournaments, and betting trends.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign and player data.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, real‑time environment, especially during live sporting events.
