We are proud to be the worldâs largest and most experienced flower delivery network. Every day, people trust us to deliver their best wishes and sentiments on their behalf. But itâs not just about being the largest - we pride ourselves on being the most personable too. Everyone involved - from our florists, to our delivery drivers, to our Customer Advisors all take care to add that little personal touch.
Weâre also proud that so many award-winning florists choose to be part of the Interflora family. Each of our expert florists has a unique blend of skills, creativity and attention to detail that is needed to create every handmade Interflora bouquet.
We have a very flexible approach to hybrid working, where our colleagues are trusted to choose how they manage their time and to decide where and how they work â just as long as they come to the office in Sleaford to collaborate and connect with each other on a weekly basis (although many colleagues choose to be in the office much more often than that).
We love to spoil our staff as well and make them feel loved on their special days - each new starter gets a beautiful Interflora bouquet to say âhello and welcomeâ on their first day and every colleague is treated to another bouquet on their birthday. Our colleagues tell us that they love working here and that we have a real âfamily feelâ that makes us a unique and great place to work.
On a fixed-term maternity cover basis, we are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to work alongside the HR Manager and the rest of the HR team in providing comprehensive and professional HR advice and business partnering support to line managers.
In this role, youâll lead on supporting managers with employee relations issues, promote compliance with employment legislation and support in the delivery of best practice people management across the business. We have recently launched a brand new HRIS and have outsourced payroll management to a third party, so supporting managers and employees with using new systems and ways of working will also be a key focus.
In the team, youâll be the nominal lead for learning and development activities and initiatives, so experience and an interest in L&D would be an advantage. As well as supporting line managers and the rest of the HR Team in areas such as absence management; policies; recruitment and other HR administration, youâll also have your own HR projects to manage that contribute to the ongoing delivery of a first-class HR service to the whole business.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of employment law and practical experience of applying it
- Experience of policy development
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent influencing skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- A great attention to detail
- Ideally, a candidate that is part or fully CIPD qualified would be advantageous
This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The newly refurbished Interflora House is in the heart of Sleaford â a beautiful market town in Lincolnshire within easy reach of the Lincoln, Newark, Nottingham and Peterborough areas â but with our flexible approach to hybrid working, we now hope to be able to attract new colleagues from much further afield to be part of our family.
In our amazing newly designed workspace, we have a choice of over 80 âhot desksâ and 14 meeting rooms, as well as many different types of work areas to utilise throughout the day â whether thatâs our âLibraryâ for some quiet thinking space, our âHeartspaceâ for a chat over a free freshly-ground coffee, or our âAmphitheatreâ for social and collaboration activities. Thereâs even variety in our 3 main working areas, which include designated quiet desks, a âfull bloomâ space for noisy, day to day work activities and calls, breakout spaces, meeting pods and conferencing facilities â the choice is yours and itâs all here at Interflora House!
