An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join an established international engineering organisation operating within the clean energy and industrial technology sectors. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll take ownership of the marketing function, developing and delivering a commercial marketing strategy that supports business growth, strengthens brand positioning and generates measurable sales opportunities across UK and international markets.
This is far more than a traditional marketing position. You'll work closely with senior leadership, influencing strategic direction while leading initiatives across digital marketing, brand development, exhibitions, lead generation and market intelligence.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a modern marketing strategy aligned to ambitious commercial growth plans. You'll have ownership of digital marketing, website performance, SEO, AI search optimisation, events, marketing communications and campaign analytics, ensuring all activity delivers measurable commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the company's marketing strategy

About You
We’re looking for a commercially focused marketing professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll ideally have experience in:
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies
- B2B marketing
- Digital marketing and lead generation
- SEO and website optimisation
- Google Analytics (or equivalent)
- CMS platforms such as WordPress
- CRM systems and campaign reporting
- Marketing budget management
- Trade shows, exhibitions and events
- Working closely with senior stakeholders
You’ll be analytical, organised and comfortable using data to influence business decisions.
Desirable Experience
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, industrial technology, renewables or clean energy would be advantageous but is by no means essential. Experience with AI search optimisation, marketing automation platforms or international marketing would also be highly beneficial.
