Requirements:
- Experience in SOC operations, security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, cyber defence, vulnerability management, or security operations engineering
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and the wider Microsoft security ecosystem is highly advantageous
- Suitable background may include Senior SOC Analyst, SOC Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, Security Analyst, Security Operations Analyst, Incident Response Analyst, or Blue Team Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and manage security incidents end-to-end
- Monitor security events across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network environments
- Carry out threat hunting and proactive security investigations
- Query and analyse data using KQL within Microsoft Sentinel
- Work with Microsoft Defender XDR technologies
- Support vulnerability management and security posture improvements
- Perform detection engineering, alert tuning, and security tooling optimisation
- Produce technical reports and recommendations
- Support governance and compliance requirements
