We’re working with a growing UK-based software business who are looking to hire a Junior Business Analyst. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build experience in software implementation, business process analysis and customer delivery within a fast-paced, supportive environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced consultants, supporting customers through the rollout of a business software solution, helping capture requirements, assist with configuration, testing, documentation and end-user training.
The RoleAs a Junior Consultant, you will support the analysis, documentation, and implementation of business processes and the rollout of a software solution across a customer base. You’ll collaborate with customers and senior team members to understand requirements, help configure the platform and contribute to smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Customer engagement: Support requirements gathering through meetings, workshops and discovery sessions.
- Software configuration & integration: Assist with solution configuration and document specifications aligned to customer needs (basic SQL skills useful).
- Implementation support: Help deliver implementation activities in line with established methodologies and best practice.
- Training & documentation: Create e-learning materials, user guides and supporting documentation; assist with training end users.
- Testing & QA: Execute testing to ensure the solution meets functional requirements and quality standards.
- Analytical mindset: Naturally inquisitive with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Technical aptitude: Comfortable with MS Office; any exposure to software development concepts and/or SQL.
- Communication: Confident verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Customer focus: Proactive and keen to understand and support customer needs.
- Organisation: Able to multitask, manage time effectively and work well under pressure.
