We are partnering with a rapidly scaling SaaS organisation specialising in employee health management systems, trusted by tier-one global brands. Backed by near-zero client attrition and a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions, the business is entering a period of significant growth over the next three to five years.
This is a pivotal hire, offering the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact client work and influence how complex workflow solutions are designed and delivered at scale.
What This Means For You
This role offers genuine visibility and influence. You will work directly with C-suite stakeholders, shaping how complex business processes are translated into real, operational systems. You will lead from the front, owning conversations, guiding outcomes, and becoming a trusted voice in high-value engagements. In a flat, high-growth environment, progression is driven by impact. There is clear scope for this role to evolve into a lead or head of consulting position as the business scales. This is suited to someone who wants their work recognised, who takes pride in delivery, and who thrives in environments where they are trusted to make decisions and drive outcomes.
The Role
You will own the 'technical' specification design process, end-to-end, translating complex HR policies and operational requirements into structured, scalable workflow solutions. This is not a development role. You will not be coding. Instead, you will focus on designing the technical workflows correctly; ensuring they are practical, efficient, and aligned to both client needs and system capabilities. You will operate in a highly consultative capacity, running workshops, analysing documentation and producing clear, implementable designs.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and 'ideation' sessions to unpack complex client requirements
- Analyse HR policies, technical documentation, and functional processes
- Translate verbal and ambiguous requirements into clear, structured workflow designs
- Create detailed process maps using Lucidchart, Visio, or similar tools
- Develop mock-ups and validate solutions with stakeholders
- Identify inefficiencies and troubleshoot workflow challenges
- Define and manage data and delivery milestones across the lifecycle
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding and constructively challenging clients
- Bridge communication between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in workflow design, process mapping, or business process consulting
- Strong experience working with HR policies or similarly complex, policy-driven environments
- Ability to convert verbal requirements into clear technical workflow designs
- Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with C-suite stakeholders and non-technical users alike
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and guiding clients to the right outcome
- Strong communicator - articulate, professional and credible
- Interest in automation and applying AI to workflow design
Mindset & Profile
- Bright, inquisitive, and naturally curious
- Laser-focused on outcomes and quality
- Takes pride in their work and ownership of delivery
- Problem solver with a pragmatic, commercially aware mindset
- Energetic, driven, and motivated by impact rather than hierarchy
Tools
Familiarity with software like Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or BPM tools.
Package
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (commensurable with experience)
Additional Benefits: 25 days holiday, work from home, flat management structure (future development/positional opportunity)
