A rare opportunity has arisen for a driven and experienced Interim Senior Programme Manager to lead the delivery of high-impact strategic change within a forward-thinking and award-winning organisation in the investment and financial services sector – Pensions, Investments, Asset Management.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Programme Manager, you’ll oversee the full programme lifecycle—from planning and governance through to benefits realisation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clear and values-led leadership to ensure effective programme delivery and an enhanced colleague experience.
  • Managing complex, multi-disciplinary strategic programmes from inception to completion.
  • Developing and executing delivery plans that align with organisational goals.
  • Leading stakeholder engagement and coordination across internal teams, external partners, suppliers and Board-level sponsors.
  • Driving effective governance, assurance, reporting and benefits tracking through established frameworks.
  • Promoting consistency in change delivery across the organisation through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Providing operational oversight and challenge to project sponsors and delivery teams.
  • Overseeing risk identification, mitigation planning and issue resolution.
  • Ensuring successful outcomes and seamless transition into business-as-usual operations.
