Description
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Leeds team. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our server and storage infrastructure within a 3rd line support team, with primary responsibilities for support, administration, and maintenance of these systems.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement Server & Storage infrastructure, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Plan upgrades, updates, and migrations for Server & Storage systems.
- Ensure system backups are performed according to policy.
- Adhere to ITIL, Prince2, and ISO procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Windows Server OS (2008/2012).
- Experience working in an ITIL environment and managing projects.
- Experience with VMware (vSphere 5.x, vCentre).
- Knowledge of enterprise monitoring solutions.
- Experience with HP servers/blades and Hitachi (HUS) storage hardware or similar.
