The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Salary: Up to £50,000 dependent on experience + 3% flexible benefits + on target bonus of 5% + contributory pension
We’re now looking for a Systems Engineer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with key business projects from conception to delivery
- Resolve 3rd line support issues for key business systems
- Proactively manage the IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system uptime
- Develop and maintain IT procedural/process documentation in line with PCI DSS and ITIL requirements
- Maintain a viable IT Business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure as per business requirements
- Mentor junior support staff and assist where necessary
- Assist in system capacity planning
- Review the current IT infrastructure and propose improvements
- Install, configure, and maintain key IT systems including Microsoft servers, switches, SANs, VMware, telephony systems, and firewalls
- Build and maintain a secure network
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 administration, security, IIS, DHCP, DNS, clustering, server hardening
- Active Directory management, roaming profiles, group policies, replication, remote software distribution, sites and services
- Understanding of Windows 2012 RDS application management and deployment
- Exchange Server 2010 installation, replication, capacity and performance tuning, message tracking, archiving
- Backup technologies including Exchange, SQL databases, media rotation, capacity planning
- VMware and SAN technologies, configuration/maintenance of VMware ESX 5.x
- Sophos Antivirus management
- Windows 7 administration
- Hardware experience: rack-mounted servers, RAID, switching, processor/memory upgrades, KVM, LTO4 tape drives
- Cisco networking: switches, firewalls, VPN, VLAN, routing, capacity planning
- Telephony: Avaya Communication Manager, handsets, capacity planning, upgrades
- Experience with Verint Voice Recording, IVR, security technologies supporting PCI/ISO compliance
