This is an award-winning software vendor specializing in providing niche software to both public and private sector organizations across the world. Due to continued expansion and customers already in over 23 countries, they are at present seeking graduate-level developers – ideally someone from a Computer Science Degree who has a strong grasp of data and possibly reporting solutions backed with really strong, logical coding ability.
Within this role, you will be instrumental in creating customer reports and working closely with Implementation Service Managers and Report Developers. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting, successful, and expanding company.
Job Functions
The Report Developer will assist in the creation and update of new and existing customer reports.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding the client report requirements
- Development of reports within the bespoke system – (textual and graphical)
- Creating various testing scenarios and testing against specifications
- Diagnosing and resolving issues that reporting may contain
- Assisting in troubleshooting
Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to analyze and interpret report requirements and liaise with appropriate team members to deliver product as per client specification
- Ability to adapt to new software knowledge
- Very detail-oriented
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize workload, perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent PC skills including fluency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C# and Python
- Working knowledge of report writing tools

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills being able to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand non-technical language for both internal and external stakeholders
