Information / Governance Consultant – Leeds – Greenfield Team / Pan European Group REF 637 Published: [Insert Date]Location: West YorkshireResponsibilities:Contribute to keeping all governance documents up to date and relevant to sustain the key Information Management principles across the group.Support the Lead Information Manager to embed the IM framework across the group.Coordinate the IM team\’s efforts to provide assistance and support to departments to promote and embed the IM framework and Key Principles throughout the group.Coordinate the work of and the support of the Information Governance Champions.Contribute to the maintenance of Information related risks.Investigate identified data problems and ensure a resolution is identified and implemented.Investigate any issues with the IM reporting mechanisms to ensure they remain robust and operating effectively.Improve data quality measures and the controls to monitor data quality.Required Experience:Proven track record in working with a governance framework and governance documents.Excellent interpersonal skills.Knowledge and understanding of the relevant information management and data protection legislation.Ability to multi-task, deal with work within tight/conflicting deadlines and prioritize work appropriately.Proven ability to engage successfully with cross-functional stakeholders outside of direct line management responsibilities.Knowledge and understanding of the importance of confidentiality and Information management and security principles.Experience of working within an information governance team.Strong analysis and design skills.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, commercially oriented environment.Contact Number: 0113 2990570Compensation: Flexi Pack + Bonus
