They’re looking for a highly-committed team player with a passion for all things digital, from online design trends and strategies to the latest cutting-edge tech and a real empathy for the end-user experience. You will have worked in a fast-paced creative environment, developing and delivering creative digital solutions for brands across a wide variety of channels, including desktop, mobile, e-comms and social media, with a proven ability to develop robust, measured solutions that utilise the latest technology.
The Role
You will be responsible for the design and development of digital communications and engagement solutions for many of the world’s best-known brands. From apps and games, to e-marketing and social media campaigns, to immersive digital brand experiences - you will apply creative thinking and front-end development expertise to every project. You will optimise the users’ experience and deliver solutions to quality and delivery standards. You will act as a Trusted Advisor to colleagues and clients alike, supporting the creation of technical scopes, wireframes, user journey recommendations and UI design in accordance with best practice. Your experience and proactivity will also mean that you take the lead on project delivery, ensuring key milestone deadlines are met and exceeded and resourcing issues are resolved.
Team
You’ll join our growing Digital team, and report to the Digital Director. You’ll work with creative specialists across strategy, graphic and 3D design, film, content, exhibition and events.
Responsibilities and skills
You demonstrate a strong commercial acumen and understanding of technology, digital best practice and tech trends. You are a logical thinker and accomplished problem solver, with an attention to detail that is second to none. You have expert development skills, which include:
- JavaScript
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Ionic
- React
- Angular
- JQuery
- WordPress
- Utilisation of third-party APIs
You also have a solid working knowledge of PHP and DevOps, with a portfolio to match, and a high-level understanding of version control and deployment using Git, in addition to pre-go-live QC/UAT testing. You will have experience of email marketing design and development, and it would be advantageous if you have a background in working with client-side scripting technologies, as well as any mobile and web application development.
