Location: Hybrid Working (2 days/week in office)
An exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join us in Bradford. You will be required to oversee automated operational processes, including Azure DevOps, Design & Build phase and technical application/infrastructure implementation. You will also create best practice guidelines and recommend changes to streamline release & deployment operations. You will help establish a technical vision and manage DevOps deliverables across a multi-functional/agile team, working closely with PMs, Managers and Architects to ensure processes meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Make recommendations to improve DevOps processes, tooling and solutions.
- Promote DevOps capabilities and processes.
- Creation of CI/CD pipelines to improve business agility.
- Analysing project & business needs; and selecting solutions to meet those needs.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Lead with the upskilling and knowledge transfer for junior team members.
Skills and Attributes
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer working with Azure DevOps technologies (Rancher, Kubernetes, Harbor, Docker, Helm) as well as experience with Red Hat Linux and automating processes using scripting languages.
- A background in troubleshooting and technology support would also be beneficial.
