DEV OPS Engineer - contract

Role

• The DevOps Engineer will participate in the entire development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, system design, development, quality assurance, testing, and deployment.
• Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data. Ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams.
• Hands-on into daily work including troubleshooting production issues; communicate well with the stakeholders concerned.
• Cultivate effective working relationships with global business users and other IT teams.

Profile

• The DevOps Engineer should be experienced in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with core Java, Spring, and design patterns.
• Experience with API development and Microservice frameworks.
• Experience with continuous integration frameworks.
• Experience with Unix, including the ability to analyze log files.
• Experience with RDBMS databases.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks, like FitNesse, UFT, and Selenium.
• Hands-on incident management and production support experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud/GCP technology.
• Experience with the Vue.js/React framework.
• Exposure to distributed global team setups.
