The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
In a market where decisions are critical to the future success of the business, this new team has one of the key roles in the business informing and shaping the direction of decisions across pricing, finance, MI, and operations.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Working closely with senior management in order to present technical BI findings
- Delivery and maintenance of BAU reporting within Business Intelligence
- Delivering ad-hoc reporting requests in a timely manner according to requirements
- Challenging purpose of requests into the team in order to find the best solution
- Supporting robust governed reporting delivery; testing, security, accuracy, and consistency
- Delivering amendments/improvements to existing dashboards in BI tool across the business
- Supporting strategic data and tool migration projects
- Supporting the production of BI documentation
- Analysis into KPI trends across the business
- Identifying areas for improvement to rationalise existing processes
- Delivering and supporting BI reporting schedules and automation including streamlining
- Supporting audit processes within BI
You’ll need to evidence the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Experience of producing reporting and BI through Qlikview or similar BI tools
- Ability to interpret data to provide insight and direction based on findings
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks and work under pressure for senior business people
- Experience working with complex data structures
- Business/Numerical Honours degree or QBE or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of relational & dimensional databases
- Good understanding of BI development life cycle
- Experience with enterprise BI tools desired (Qlik, SAP, Microstrategy, Tableau, Other)
- Effective communicator with good organisational and prioritising skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience of presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders
