Permanent Senior Business Analyst, based in Leeds β the vacancy is focused upon software/application development projects. If you are a Business analyst that has a background in systems analysis or just pure development and you wish to move into a more IT functional role then this could be a good opportunity for you.

- Ability to work closely with developers and testers on complex applications.
- Familiarity with key software technologies; C#, ASP.net, MVC, SOA
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
- Business and Systems analysis experience

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business analysis activities on projects and programmes of all sizes.
- Support the delivery of client and business facing technology solutions as well as infrastructure projects.
- Providing support to the developers, testers, technology managers, and architects, in the definition of technical solutions.
- Defining overall requirements (user Stories); providing breakdowns of these requirements in a document which can be followed in order to create suitable software.
- Working with stakeholders within the business and external client stakeholders where relevant to elicit, capture, analyse, refine and communicate/document their requirements.
- Perform software investigation, analyse and deliver outcomes to the team and stakeholders across the business, offering suggestions and evaluating alternatives.
- Manage functional requirement gathering, documentation and execution using Agile Project Management tools.
- Support product demos and acceptance testing with end users and stakeholders.
- Following testing and implementation of technology projects, producing the technical support documentation that can be used by product support teams.
- Ensure consistent programme and change process is applied to all technology projects.
- Ensure that projects have accurate and current project governance documentation including:
- Scope and deliverables of a project
- Milestone delivery plans
- Project highlight reports
- Risk and action logs
- Project budget management
- Escalate critical risks and other significant project blockers.
