About Us: Our client is a leading technology company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to the global logistics market. They have a significant client who is upscaling their operations and, in line with this expected double-digit growth, they are investing in a major programme of systems improvements. They are seeking an Azure Cloud Integration Contractor to join the team for twelve months to help contribute to their ongoing success in delivering this new platform.
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Integration Contractor to take the lead on recommending, setting up, documenting, and maintaining the Microsoft cloud development and test environments, including Azure and Dev Box. The successful candidate will work closely with our client to ensure their Azure cloud platform is efficient, secure, and tailored to their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend and design Azure cloud solutions that meet requirements.
- Create solution designs and a road map that explain the problem, the architecture, how the system works, key considerations for security and data privacy, and how it will be delivered aligning to architecture and delivery standards.
- Set up and configure Microsoft Azure environments for development and testing purposes.
- Maintain and optimize Azure environments, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand their cloud platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges related to Azure.
- Stay up to date with Azure best practices and trends to ensure the highest level of service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- End-to-end understanding of cloud systems, architecture, and design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud development and test environments, including Azure and Dev Box.
- Extensive experience working with cloud, server, desktop, and networks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with cloud security and data protection best practices.
- Able to provide input to, and technical solutions for, business requirements.
- Able to create and maintain documentation relating to operations, processes, troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
- Worked within project delivery frameworks, able to demonstrate time management and labour estimating.
- Effective communication and client relationship skills.
- A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
