Candidate Location: Midlands or M62 corridor

Position summary: The role is accountable for sales growth and customer acquisition within a defined portfolio of Key End User and specification Accounts within healthcare, education, life sciences, pharma & data centres for a region within the UK. The role is focused on selling our Nora rubber product line.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven success of client and project acquisition in the key market segments with resilient flooring products.
  • Strong existing networking and customer relationships.
  • An expert in resilient flooring with a deep understanding of the sector including technical and performance requirements with an ability to present key technical information and educate client groups.
  • Understanding of planning and execution across multi location clients, and the communication skills to implement those plans.
  • Experience of mapping complex projects and demonstrable track record of account development within a portfolio of large customers, growing volume and margins.
  • Proven experience successfully securing major projects in a multi-influencer B2B business environment.
  • Clear understanding of current procurement practices such as e-bidding, reverse auctions, RFP's, tendering, with experience in leading in such situations in key market segments.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively, internally and externally, to achieve goals and objectives.

Essential duties:

  • Develop and execute segment related plans, managing a personal account portfolio of potential accounts within a defined region in the UK, and achieving sustainable growth and business goals as part of the regional team results.
  • Support colleagues with major projects acting as subject matter expert and developing their knowledge of the product category.
  • Demonstrate sales and project management excellence.
  • Work closely with the wider regional sales team to support the securing and defending of specifications through close attention to the end user.
  • Work closely with sales management to maximize the successful execution of business in the portfolio through the local sales team.
  • Identify, monitor, report and record all sales opportunities in SalesForce (CRM) so that they may be converted into sales, to grow our business.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver a consistent value proposition to Key Accounts in the designated sectors.
  • Lead the communication of the company’s sustainability agenda within the account portfolio, working with client management and internal resources to drive the Interface vision.
  • Communicate insights and market information in respect of the product category to management.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional sales team to optimize win rates on major projects within the product category and build strong connections with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a product category champion within the regional organization.
  • Comply with company policy and statutory rules in respect of safety, environment, and employment.
  • Other duties as reasonably defined by management.

Scale & scope: Must be located within the region and within easy commutable distance of the key cities.

Work environment: Fast paced, dynamic, with periods of high intensity. Regular travel across the territory will be required to respond to client needs.
