Join the Intercruises team in the UK, where you will lead a team that works in unison with cruise lines, port authorities, and destination representatives to deliver a seamless journey between land and ship.

How you will make an impact

  • Leading a large team based in Southampton in the delivery of outstanding turnaround services at all levels.
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with our cruise line clients, port authorities, transport suppliers, accommodation suppliers and all other relationships both external and internal.
  • Take full ownership of the turnaround teams commercial responsibilities, including P&L ownership, cooperate with other functions to prepare commercial proposals for potential clients.
  • Leading the learning & development of the teams, performance management, driving employee engagement and recruitment of both full time, part time and pier staff.
  • Leading all operational requirements to ensure a seamless customer journey, delivering on the industry leading SLA agreements and service & operational KPIs.
  • Ensuring full operational coverage by your teams and being part of this yourself, this does involve weekend work and emergency phone coverage.
  • Ensure the departments responsibilities for reporting both financial and operational are adhered to in a timely manner and to the highest standards.
  • Ensuring industry leading H&S requirements are implemented and adhered to and all crisis and disruption events are dealt with to the highest standards.

What you will bring

  • You are experienced in destination management with a strong knowledge and understanding of customer focused operations, particularly within the cruise industry.
  • Commercially perceptive, able to balance product innovation and cost effectiveness, with experience in managing varied client accounts.
  • You are a high-quality decision maker, even when working under pressure.
  • A proven leader of teams with great communication skills and able to motivate varied teams working in operational and customer facing roles.
  • A passion for delivering the highest levels of service to both internal and external customers.
  • A driver of change, you are always looking for better, more efficient ways of working.
