A bit about what you will do...

As a Kitchen Porter Supervisor, your role is primarily to lead and inspire a team of Kitchen Porters to make sure that they exceed in their roles and that all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH regulations are adhered to.

  • Dishwashers are maintained to a high level of cleanliness daily.
  • Ensure that all waste containers are cleaned as per the cleaning records
  • Ensure that all areas managed by the Kitchen are kept to the correct level of cleanliness
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations and legislation
  • Ensure all staff is trained on correct usage of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure COSHH cupboards are stocked correctly and kept tidy.
  • Manage the Centres supply of cleaning chemicals by communicating all orders as required in line with budget.
  • Ensure sufficient levels of staff are scheduled to work in line with business needs taking into account staff requests.
  • Manage and record all check lists and cleaning schedules daily/weekly and are correctly followed.
  • Actively manage and encourage your KPs ensuring that company expectations are adhered to at all times.
  • Hold weekly team meetings maintain levels of communication across the team.
  • Report any near misses and accidents to the BOH Manager
