Overview
We're looking for a Manager, New Hotel Openings Europe to join our Hotel Lifecycle & Growth team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
The role may be based from the UK, Germany or France, with regular travel across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a portfolio of hotel openings across Europe, guiding projects from pre‑opening planning to successful launch.
- Lead and support pre‑opening activities for new IHG hotels.
- Build strong relationships with owners, general managers, hotel teams and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate activity across Operations, Commercial, Brand, Finance, Legal and Hotel Lifecycle & Growth teams.
- Ensure hotel readiness through training, systems set‑up and adherence to operational standards.
- Conduct site visits to track progress, identify risks and support problem‑solving.
- Support pre‑opening inspections and post‑opening reviews.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong hotel operations experience, ideally as a general manager or senior operational leader, with exposure to hotel openings, conversions or pre‑opening projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Practical, hands‑on approach with advanced organisation and project coordination abilities.
- Confidence working across different countries, cultures and teams.
- Knowledge of PMS, GRS and/or IHG systems is advantageous.
- English fluency is essential; German is highly desirable and other European languages are beneficial.

Regular European travel, including time on site with hotel and project teams.
