Overview
Oversee the measurement and management of IHG\’s global carbon footprint across Scopes 1, 2 and 3. Ensure methodologies are robust, transparent, and aligned with the GHG Protocol, CDP, SBTi, and evolving regulations such as CSRD. We\’re looking for a Senior Manager, Sustainability Performance & Insights to join our Global Corporate Responsibility team at IHG\’s Headquarters in Windsor, UK. Responsibilities
- Drive data systems and insight innovation by managing and evolving our global sustainability data platforms, handling large, complex datasets, and developing intuitive dashboards that transform data into actionable insights for regions, functions, and leaders.
- Anticipate and innovate by leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to advance ESG analytics, forecasting, and performance reporting; explore how machine learning and data science can forecast trends from energy consumption and carbon emissions to climate-related risk and weather impacts.
- Transform insights into action by creating engaging, insight-led reports and presentations that inform and inspire senior stakeholders, from the Executive Committee to Finance and regional CR teams, enabling data-driven decisions that create lasting impact.
- Strengthen governance and accountability by safeguarding the accuracy, traceability, and consistency of global ESG data; ensure disclosures and metrics align with leading sustainability standards and investor expectations.
- Collaborate for global impact by working closely with colleagues across regions and functions, connecting insights to action and fostering a shared understanding of our sustainability journey.

Qualifications
- Strong experience in sustainability or ESG data analytics, carbon accounting, and reporting
- Familiarity with key frameworks such as GHG Protocol, CDP, CSRD, and TCFD
- Proven ability to design and manage sustainability data systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms)
- Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python to manage, interrogate, and validate large datasets
- Interest or experience in data science and machine learning applications for sustainability (e.g., forecasting energy use, modelling emissions, or integrating climate and weather data)
- Experience producing clear, insight-driven reports and presentations for senior audiences
- A proactive, self-sufficient mindset and drive for continuous improvement
- An innovative perspective on how technology and AI can accelerate sustainability progress
