A fantastic opportunity for a Cluster Reservations Agent to join our Cluster team in voco Oxford Spires & voco Oxford Thames on a Full-Time contract. This is a Cluster role, split between the 2 properties. We are offering a salary of £30,087.33 + 10% annual bonus. Staff Accommodation in Oxford available!

Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with clients through regular contact by telephone, e-mail and in person; actively seek client feedback and sales leads
- Process all bookings via our in-house system, creating written confirmations and function sheets
- Handle enquiries and bookings efficiently and pleasantly; communicate special requests to relevant departments
- Ensure high-quality, accurate reservations; keep platforms and OTA extranets up to date
- Check reservation communications prior to arrival to maximise occupancy; complete daily/weekly reservations tasks
- Adhere to IHG and UK Managed Hotels’ standards; maximise sales, occupancy and revenue through up-selling of equipment, F&B and facilities
- Manage inquiries to prevent, recover or investigate any complaints; deliver excellent service face to face and by phone
- Establish client requirements and identify how the hotel can accommodate their needs
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Reservations or Front Desk in a property of similar size
- Experience delivering high-quality customer service
- Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain high accuracy
To succeed as a Cluster Reservations Agent:
- Manage enquiries to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue; up-sell equipment, F&B and facilities
- Accurately input all enquiries into Sales and Catering systems
- Compile accurate function sheets and share updates with Operations Team
- Collaborate as part of a team to achieve department objectives and budget
- Assist with prevention, recovery and investigation of any complaints
- Liaise with clients to ensure accurate details for each event and reservation
- Deliver excellent service to guests and clients, in person or by telephone
