The Manchester Deansgate Hotel is on the lookout for a dynamic Concierge. Join the excitement and become part of the IHG Hotels and Resorts family! Nestled in the iconic Beetham Tower, this hotel features 279 elegantly designed rooms with stunning skyline views. Enjoy upscale amenities, including sky bar Cloud 23, 2 Rosette Podium Restaurant, an indoor pool, and a fitness centre. Perfect for both business and leisure travellers, with 14 meeting rooms and over 1,800 square feet of event space. The Manchester Deansgate Hotel will fully transition to the InterContinental brand by 2027, enhancing your stay with our signature luxury and service.

As a Concierge (Full-Time), you can expect to carry out the following duties:

  • Being the first point of contact for our guests (you will greet our guests with a warm and authentic Hotel Indigo welcome, supporting with any luggage or additional requirements) – it would be great if you had experience in a customer facing environment within a Hotel or Hospitality venue!
  • Recommending food, drinks and entertainment for our guests (you will be a local guide for our guests and adjust your approach to the wants and needs of each individual guest) – you will be someone who knows all the best spots in the local area and have excellent personal skills communicating with a wide range of guests!
  • Working closely with our reception team (you will be motivated to ensure all of our guests leave with a smile on their face) – a warm, authentic personality with a can-do attitude and experience of working closely in a team is essential for this role!
  • A full UK drivers license is required for this role as you will also carry out valet parking duties for our Guests’ cars.
