We are looking for an authentic and driven Conference and Banqueting Team Leader (Part-Time) to join us at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel!
Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is a Manchester icon - a bold blend of grand Victorian architecture and playful, contemporary design. We create stays that feel vibrant, personal and anything but ordinary.
As our C&B Operations Supervisor, you will serve as a departmental role model or mentor by working alongside the events team to perform technical or functional job duties. You will encourage and motivate the team to perform their best, take responsibility for tasks assigned, and provide input on possible improvements. Communication skills are key as you will need to collaborate with other departments to ensure the events run efficiently.
To succeed as our C&B Supervisor, you will:
- Be available to work 16 hours per week (weekend and late night availability is essential).
- Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
- Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
- Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Senior Waiter / Team Leader role within Banqueting/Meeting and Events.
- Have experience within a 5* hotel or property of similar size and complexity.
- Have previous experience with Delphi and Micros.
