About the Role

As Investment Analysis Manager, you will lead the feasibility, deal valuation, and approval processes for complex and strategic projects, ensuring IHG’s growth agenda is realized with precision and insight. You will manage and mentor a talented team of Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.

Working closely with Development, Design, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams, you will produce compelling market studies and financial models that underpin key investment decisions. Your expertise will guide negotiations, influence owner meetings, and ensure robust approval documentation.

What You’ll Do

Lead feasibility studies and financial valuations for complex hotel projects across Europe.

Manage the Europe Development Approval Committee process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.

Mentor and coach junior Analysts, challenging assumptions and elevating team capabilities.

Collaborate on strategic projects and innovation initiatives that drive IHG’s competitive edge.

Build and maintain strong industry relationships with developers, consultants, and hotel operators.

What We’re Looking For

At least 5 years’ experience in hotel feasibility and valuation across diverse European markets.

Proven expertise in complex financial modelling (DCF) and hotel P&L analysis.

Ideally at least 2 years’ experience of Line Management or coaching experience

Strong communication skills to translate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Finance, Tourism, or related field.

Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

A proactive leader with a passion for mentoring and strategic impact.
