Overview
We are looking for an authentic and driven Luggage Porter/Door Person (Full-Time) to join us at Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel and embrace your unique, best self to provide our guests with heartfelt human connections!
You can join us either Full-Time(40 hours per week) or Part-Time(20-hours per week) and is essential for this role to have a Driving License!
Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel brings together traditional Edinburgh architecture with an exciting and fresh indoor feel, offering our guests a modern luxurious stay. Welcoming locals to relax in our Garden area (a must visit), experiencing mouth-watering food in BABA restaurant, or guests from far and wide being pampered in our state-of-the-art Spa – we cover it all!
Responsibilities
- Be yourself – bringing the real you to work, with your unique personality we want you to be who you are!
- Lead yourself – we trust you to make decisions and exert your creativity in order to provide our guests with heartfelt human connections, we trust you to do right!
- Make it count – you matter, and we will provide you with all the tools you need in order to create ridiculously personalised experiences for our guests every day!
- Provide guests with assistance in entering our Hotel, greeting them as they come and welcoming them with a friendly approach!
- Support Concierge in moving luggage to rooms, communicating with the wider Front Office team in order to coordinate your approach.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Luggage Porter, Door Person, Receptionist, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a 4/5* Hotel is beneficial
- An organised approach, ability to handle large amounts of information at once and deal with various requests simultaneously
- Drive to produce results, we work together within the Kimpton family to continue to provide our guests with extremely personal experiences and human connection.
- A warm and authentic personality, with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
- Overall, you will be willing to work within our team to embrace our service and delight our guests!
