At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are looking for a Groups and Events Planning Manager to join our team in the heart of Mayfair. Situated at one of the capital's most prestigious addresses, InterContinental London Park Lane reinvents traditional luxury to present modern and flexible sophistication. Inspired by its location overlooking the Royal Parks, the hotel delivers elegant natural interiors and awardâwinning seasonal cuisine.
Working within one of the most iconic properties, known for its celebrated banquets and loyal returning events along with highâend conferencing, this role offers exposure to premium clients and the luxury hospitality market. You will collaborate closely with operational and culinary teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Take full ownership and accountability for the planning and management of assigned meetings and events from contract signing through to execution.
- Work alongside the Department Head to ensure the team delivers a knowledgeable, efficient, and highâquality service.
- Maintain a strong understanding of client requirements to ensure expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all departments to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
- Maximise sales opportunities while maintaining brand standards and service excellence.
- Oversee largeâscale reservations, conferences, group bookings, and gala dinners.
- Previous experience as an Events Planning Executive or Events Planning Manager within a similar highâend or luxury property.
- Proven ability to manage complex events and multiple priorities.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach with attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Extensive knowledge of Opera, Delphi and Social Tables is desired.
- 31 days holiday each year, including bank holidays, increasing up to a maximum of 33 days (Pro Rated).
