I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:
- Review bookings and plan for the smooth department operation during shifts.
- Ensure all working areas are clean, properly equipped and maintained to high standards.
- Effectively carry out service recovery or train the team to do so in the event of guest complaints.
- Responsible for training the In-Room Dining and Minibar teams to achieve excellence in service and performance.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and ensure accurate minibar processes and charges.
- Ensure that In Room Dining amenities, menus, and wine lists remain relevant and aligned with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Ensure prompt and efficient service according to standards.
- Prepare all mise-en-place for In Room Dining service prior to delivery.
- Maintain good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B daily activities.
- Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
- Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest feedback.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least 3 years of experience in In Room Dining or similar luxury hotel setting.
- Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage terminology, operations, wine service, menu development, hygiene codes, and inventory control.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
- All candidates must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available for this role.
