This position is responsible for assisting room attendants on assigned floors. You will support room attendants by handling heavy items such as mattresses and linens, and deliver linens and supplies while maintaining cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas. This role also responds to guest requests promptly, such as delivering housekeeping supplies. You will clean designated areas including public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage, and other public spaces on the assigned floors. You will monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste across all housekeeping areas. You may also collect newspapers and other items for recycling.
What We Need from You
Our hotel operates 24/7 to meet guest needs. Although shifts will be assigned, flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, is required. Basic reading, writing, and math skills are necessary. Some housekeeping experience is preferred. This job requires physical ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds, push or pull approximately 300 pounds, and perform frequent standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
