Duties and Responsibilities

As Finance Assistant, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

  • Accounts Receivable – Assisting in AR and cross estate billing & query resolution.
  • Accounts Payable – matches invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes, and manage suppliers queries.
  • Income Audit – Assist with the Daily Income Audit as per Checklist, and maintaining ongoing relationships with Global Business Service Centre team to ensure all DocMX tasks are carried out as per our timelines for the hotel including Six Senses Place.
  • Reconciling cash (including petty cash) and credit card transactions, and responsible for maintaining our cash machine for the hotel including Six Senses Place.
  • Assisting with month end close.
  • Perform any additional tasks given by supervisor/management.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Finance Assistant, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or similar qualifications and professional accounting body certification. I have more than one year’s experience in a hotel accounting role.
  • Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I keep myself updated with the latest trends in fitness and wellness.
  • Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
