We have an opportunity for an Executive to support Development Events & Communications based in our Global HQ in Windsor!

As we continue to grow across Europe, we’re looking for a creative and detail-drivenindividual to join the IHG Development Communications & Events Team based in Windsor, UK. At IHG, we’re more than a global hospitality company. We are a community of brands, people and experiences that shape the future of travel.

How you will make the difference:

This role is instrumental in supporting our strategic goals in Europe. You’ll help design and deliver events and communications that:

  • Help telling IHG story and strengthening our presence in the region
  • Elevate IHG’s visibility with key audiences
  • Strengthen relationships with hotel owners and investors
  • Support IHG’s Development team in signing new hotels and retaining existing properties

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan & Execute Events: Across internal and external conferences and hospitality events, you’ll manage logistics, guest lists, venues and on-site coordination.
  • Drive Digital Engagement: Create and schedule content for social channels and the IHG Development website to amplify our brand.
  • Create Compelling Content: Design and develop materials that showcase IHG’s value proposition and support strategic storytelling.
  • Deliver Insights: Conduct research on competitors, trends and venues to inform strategy and communications.
  • Post-Event & Campaign Reporting: Gather feedback and metrics, provide insights and drive initiatives for future improvements.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage Budgets & Admin: Track spend, handle invoices and maintain organised records of assets and deliverables.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Events Management or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of work or internship experience in hotel marketing, operations or communications.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and familiarity with digital tools and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Creative, organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to problem-solving
