Role Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Assistant, your main duties and responsibilities include leading and supporting the Maintenance team to work behind the scenes:
- Ensuring the hotel is a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Completing ad‑hoc jobs and predicting problems before they arise.
- Communicating with wider hotel teams to resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Maintenance Team Leader, you will need:
- Experience working as a maintenance assistant, plumber, electrician, or painter/decorator within a hotel environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety and a passion for ensuring a safe working environment.
- A passion for providing luxury experiences and willingness to go above and beyond to personalise guests’ stays.
- Ability to work together in a team with guests as the centre focus.
