Do you thrive where business strategy, commercial performance and technology innovation intersect? IHG is looking for a Director of Product & Technology Business Partnering to shape and deliver the technology agenda for the UK & Northern Ireland division.

As the trusted P&T partner to the BU Managing Director and Leadership Team, you will connect technology with business ambition - acting as both the voice of P&T in the region and the voice of the region back into P&T. You will lead strategy, drive alignment with hotel and owner communities, and champion the technology narrative across one of IHG’s most influential regions.

Strategic Leadership
  • Influence divisional strategy, positioning technology as a driver of guest experience, performance and owner value.
  • Align P&T with hotel and owner needs, ensuring clarity, advocacy and shared priorities.
  • Gather insights to craft a compelling regional technology story and champion it across the business.
Business Partnering & Governance
  • Serve as primary technology liaison to the IHG Owners Association and subcommittees.
  • Translate business needs into clear technology requirements.
  • Feed regional priorities into P&T governance, shaping the future roadmap.
  • Build strong relationships across hotels and ownership groups to drive adoption and advocacy.
  • Lead the divisional Technology New Hotel Opening process.
  • Champion continuous improvement of the IHG Technology Management Service.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee hotel technology managers, driving capability, consistency and performance.
  • Maintain secure, compliant, standardised hotel technology (incl. PCI-DSS & brand standards).
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure excellence and ongoing improvement.
Leadership & People Development
  • Lead and inspire experienced technology professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability.
Experience & Expertise
  • Significant and proven experience within a similar technology role, within a global hospitality organisation.
  • Proven experience in regional technology business partnering or similar leadership roles.
  • Strong cross cultural background working across multiple countries, hotels, vendors and owners.
  • Deep systems knowledge (PMS, CRS, POS, yield management and related platforms).
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership and relationship building abilities.
  • Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications; ITIL v3 and/or PRINCE2 Foundation.
