Are you passionate about using AI, analytics and insight to drive measurable business performance?

This is an exciting opportunity to join IHG Hotels & Resorts as Director of Insight & AI-Driven Performance, EMEAA, for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Head of Performance Insight & Excellence, EMEAA, you will help evolve how insight is generated, interpreted and embedded across the business, turning analytics into practical recommendations that improve performance, efficiency and outcomes for hotels, owners, guests and colleagues.

About the role

You will lead the shift from traditional reporting and manual insight creation to AI-enabled decision support, identifying opportunities to automate processes, develop scalable insight products and embed AI-powered recommendations into business decision-making.

  • Lead the evolution from traditional reporting to AI-enabled insight generation and decision support.
  • Automate, simplify and improve analytical processes across the team.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Develop insight products that support performance improvement across commercial, operational and people-related priorities.
  • Embed AI-powered tools and recommendations into business decision-making.
  • Track the impact of analytics and AI initiatives, including revenue uplift, efficiency gains and guest or colleague outcomes.
  • What we need from you
  • Proven experience in analytics, insight, business intelligence or data-driven performance roles, with the ability to use data, AI and reporting tools to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Hands‑on experience with analytics and visualisation tools such as Tableau, SQL and Excel, with familiarity in AI, machine learning or tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude or Gemini.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insight, recommendations and practical business actions for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience influencing in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, consulting or technology would be advantageous.
