At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Room Technician to join our team in the heart of Mayfair with an immediate start.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on and proactive Rooms Technician to join the growing Engineering team. From luxury guest rooms and public areas to behind-the-scenes operations, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel is maintained to the exceptional standards our guests expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, and back‑of‑house spaces.
- Responding efficiently to maintenance requests, including emergency repairs in occupied guest rooms.
- Using the HotSOS system in real time to manage, update, and close tasks accurately.
- Supporting the wider Engineering team with day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance projects.
- Maintaining Engineering areas in a safe, clean, and organised condition.
- Delivering a seamless luxury guest experience through attention to detail and pride in your work.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous maintenance or engineering experience within hotels, hospitality, or a customer‑focused environment.
- Practical knowledge across general maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, or basic HVAC.
- A proactive and solutions‑focused mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Someone who communicates confidently and works well both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for delivering outstanding service and maintaining high standards.
