At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Laundry Attendant to join the housekeeping team with an immediate start.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort expected by our guests. You will need to be well organised, have lots of energy, and be willing to learn new things whilst working as part of the wider hotel team.
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, fold, press, and organize hotel linens and guest laundry.
- Sort laundry by fabric type and colour and treat stains as needed.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all items meet hotel quality and hygiene standards.
- Assist with linen inventory and storage.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
- Follow health, safety, and cleanliness procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Team-oriented with a positive work attitude.
