Overview
Kimpton Fitzroy London, a 19th‑century landmark in Bloomsbury, seeks a Door Person to join our Concierge team.
The role focuses on creating a welcoming first impression and delivering memorable guest experiences with genuine enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly at the front desk and throughout the hotel.
- Assist guests with luggage during arrivals and departures.
- Answer guest questions quickly and professionally, using the hotel’s PMS (Opera or equivalent).
- Provide accurate information on the local area and attractions.
- Maintain a visible, approachable presence at the door at all times.
- Collaborate with the front‑office and concierge teams to elevate guest service.
Qualifications
- Previous front‑office experience in a hotel environment.
- Knowledge of Opera or a similar property management system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing, friendly and self‑confident personality.
- Strong awareness of the local area and interest in sharing it with guests.
