voco Grand Central Hotel is looking for our next Breakfast Team Member (Part-Time) to join us in creating a warm voco welcome for our guests! Our locally curated voco Grand Central stands strong in Glasgow's city centre, bringing together un-stuffy service and a warm Glasgow welcome to our business and leisure guests alike.
As a Breakfast Team Member, your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Greeting our guests with a friendly and warm welcome.
- Seating them for breakfast.
- Explaining our breakfast concept to them and taking hot drink orders.
- Ensuring that our breakfast station is kept clean and organised at all times.
- Working closely with the kitchen team to provide excellent breakfast service to our guests and consistently improving our breakfast scores.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Availability to work 8 hours per week (1 shift), shift start times from 5:00am onwards.
- Experience as a waiter/waitress or server ideally in a 4 or 5* Hotel.
- An eye for detail - you will make sure our breakfast service is up to voco standards.
- An un-stuffy, thoughtful approach to service.
- An interest in our environment and sustainability.
