- Market participants, exchanges, and alternative trading systems.
- Market data and order entry protocols.
- Electronic and algorithmic trading technologies and trading strategies.
- Hands-on experience producing high-level and low-level network designs for internal and external purposes.

- Familiarity with cloud connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Interconnect) if relevant to your stack.
- Solid understanding of trading venue infrastructures (edge network, gateways, matching engine, feed handlers) with exposure to market data and order entry protocols.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications / networks (lower layers of OSI model, Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and solutions such as VCC, Layer 3 VPN, multicast distribution, TCP connection, etc.).
- Problem solving and results oriented, with a strong work ethic and an eagerness to take on new assignments and challenges.
- Strong communication skills, attention to details, and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
