Fin is the AI Customer Agent company on a mission to help businesses provide perfect customer experiences. Our AI Agent Fin is the highest-performing AI Customer Agent on the market today, enabling businesses to deliver impeccable, always-on customer support across the customer journey – from service, to sales, to ecommerce. Powered by our own AI models, Fin resolves complex customer issues end-to-end across every channel, with minimal set-up and integration.
Founded in 2011, Fin became one of the fastest growing companies and remains one of the largest private software companies in the world with nearly 30,000 global businesses using our products to transform their customer support. Driven by our core values, we push boundaries, build with speed and intensity, and relentlessly deliver incredible value to our customers.
What's The Opportunity?
Fin believes that vertically integrated AI will deliver the best performance for CX teams. We built our own models - the Apex family of models - to deliver on this belief and they are the best performing models for CX, beating frontier models on performance, hallucination and speed. We also believe in Open platforms and that you should be able to integrate Fin into your architecture and end customer experience easily. We’ve built APIs, MCP, and CLIs, and integrate with 100s of tools in our customers' tech stacks.
This role will help Fin effectively position our platform and models to technical personas and support teams. It is a net-new role for someone who wants to help define a category of PMM at Fin: making a technical, extensible platform legible and exciting to technical buyers and audiences, and establishing Fin’s leadership in the market.
What Will I Be Doing?
- Build the story for our Apex models: why Fin’s own AI investment is a differentiator, in language technical and non-technical buyers both get.
- Lead positioning and messaging for Intercom's platform- APIs, integrations, MCP, CLI, and developer surfaces - from first principles through market-ready narratives.
- Partner daily with Product and Engineering to translate deep technical capability into simple stories that builders and decision-makers understand.
- Shape the ICP and audience for our platform - who we're talking to (developers, technical buyers, AI teams), where they are, and what makes them choose us.
- Create high-quality PMM assets yourself: launch pages, docs-adjacent content, demos, technical narratives, briefs, videos.
- Build crisp, high-impact enablement that sales and partnerships actually use to sell the platform with confidence.
- Be deeply customer-obsessed - sit with developers, study how they evaluate and adopt, and turn raw signal into clear insight that shapes what we say.
- Lead launches and go-to-market moments for platform releases, working with full-stack marketers, content, and DG teams.
- Raise the bar on PMM craft for technical storytelling - modeling clarity, taste, and genuine technical understanding.
What We're Looking For
This role is for someone who is a hybrid: part strategist, part storyteller, part technologist. You move between customer insight, product detail, competitive analysis, and creative expression without friction - and you're as comfortable in an API reference as you are in a positioning doc.
- 5+ years in product marketing, ideally B2B, with a track record of shaping how complex or technical products are understood in market.
- Experience marketing technical products or to technical audiences - developers, technical buyers, or AI/ML teams - and a real feel for what earns their trust.
- The ability to get hands-on with a product: you read the docs, use the API, and dig into the tech before you write a single message.
- Great writing and the editorial judgment to know the difference between a sharp technical claim and marketing language that means nothing.
- Ability to research patterns, synthesize insight, and frame a narrative that cuts through noise.
- Comfort working directly with product leaders and engineers, and the judgment to run large, high-stakes work independently.
- A genuine interest in AI - how the models work, how the stack is evolving, and why it matters to the people building on it.
- Taste. You know what good looks like and you can explain why.
Attributes We're Looking For
- Ambitious & Competitive - You think big, set a high bar, and want to win.
- Confident & Decisive - You back yourself. You optimize for progress over consensus and believe shipping beats perfect planning.
- Curious & Intellectually Engaged - You're always learning, experimenting, and asking why.
- Delivers Great Work & Works Hard - You reliably ship. You don't like days when nothing was built.
- Technical & Internet-Native - You live in the medium you build.
- Tasteful & Creative - You understand what connects, and you draw on design, culture, and craft to make ideas resonate.
- Impatient & Change-Oriented - You hate slow, fix root causes, and thrive in ambiguity.
We are a well-treated bunch, with awesome benefits! If there’s something important to you that’s not on this list, talk to us!
- Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing start-up.
- We serve lunch every weekday, plus a variety of snack foods and a fully stocked kitchen.
- Unlimited access to Claude Code and best-in-class AI tools; experimentation & building is encouraged & celebrated.
- Pension scheme & match up to 4%.
- Peace of mind with life assurance, as well as comprehensive health and dental insurance for you and your dependents.
- Flexible paid time off policy.
- Paid maternity leave, as well as 6 weeks paternity leave for fathers, to let you spend valuable time with your loved ones.
- If you’re cycling, we’ve got you covered on the Cycle-to-Work Scheme. With secure bike storage too.
- MacBooks are our standard, but we also offer Windows for certain roles when needed.
